A legal disclaimer
Aaron's Touch Up and Restoration provides furniture refinishing, refurbishing, repair, and customization services. Due to the nature of working with wood and previously finished or vintage furniture, results can vary. Natural materials contain variations in grain, color, density, existing damage, and finish absorption, which may cause the final appearance to differ from samples, photographs, or color references. Customer acknowledges that refinishing may reveal imperfections not visible before work begins and that these variations are not considered defects.
All services are performed using industry-standard methods and a good-faith effort to achieve the customer’s desired outcome. However, Aaron's Touch Up and Restoration does not guarantee the future performance or durability of finishes, materials, or furniture structure, nor does it guarantee exact color matching. Aaron's Touch Up and Restoration is not responsible for damage resulting from regular wear and tear, misuse, improper care, environmental conditions (such as humidity or temperature changes), or future handling of the furniture.
No expressed or implied warranties are offered unless required by applicable law.
Terms & Conditions
1. Service Scope
Aaron's Touch Up and Restoration provides refinishing and refurbishing based on the condition of each piece at the time of service. If unexpected conditions are discovered during the process (e.g., prior repairs, hidden damage, multiple finish layers), the scope of work may need to be adjusted.
2. Customer Acknowledgment
Customer understands that refinishing or altering furniture may permanently change the appearance and cannot always be reversed. Customer approves the general design direction and understands that refinished or customized surfaces may not look identical to factory finishes or digital examples.
3. Liability Limitations
Aaron's Touch Up and Restoration takes reasonable care in handling each item. However, we are not responsible for structural weaknesses, pre-existing conditions, or failures caused by previous damage or age of the furniture. Our liability, if applicable, shall not exceed the cost of the service provided.
4. Color & Finish Variations
Variations in color, tone, and finish may occur due to lighting, natural grain patterns, and how different materials absorb finishes. These characteristics are part of the refinishing process and are not considered a defect.
5. Care & Maintenance
Upon completion, the customer is responsible for proper care and handling of the furniture. Care instructions may be provided and must be followed to preserve the finish.
6. Portfolio Usage
Customer permits Aaron's Touch Up and Restoration to photograph completed work for marketing or portfolio purposes. Photos will never include personal or identifying customer information.
Delivery/Shipping Policy/Method:
The customer brings in and picks up or the box truck picks up and drops off.
Cancellation/Warranty Information:
1. Materials are subject to availability. Customer must approve material. Stone is a natural product that will vary in color, markings and textures. Samples are only an indication of the ultimate finished product.
2. All workmanship is under 1 Year warranty from the time of fabrication and installation. We will repair seams that become loose, sinks that become loose, and laminations that break from the joint. Cracks are not under warranty after 24 hours of installation.
3. We require 50% down prior to starting project. The remaining balance is due upon completion.
4. This price includes countertop material and labor only, customer are responsible for any electrical and plumbing work that needs to be done. With the exception of installation of the sink itself, we will not perform this work, nor do we accept any liability or responsibility for any plumbing or electrical work that is done. Changes in the work scope will alter price.
